150,000 RAW photographs

Skies, landscapes, cities and textures, shot by one photographer — Painting Puffin's founder, a visual-effects environment artist — for people who make images rather than for stock. Good photographs with clear rights are hard to find; this is a library of them.

RAW originals

Full-resolution files straight from the camera, which keep everything the sensor captured — so a photo can be re-exposed and re-graded to sit in a film image, rather than a re-compressed JPEG of the thing you wanted.

Royalty-free for commercial work

Film, television, games and advertising. No per-project fee and no rights to clear, and photographs you download while subscribed stay licensed to you permanently, whatever later happens to your subscription.

Searchable

Keywords, albums and quality scores, so finding the right sky is a search rather than a scroll.

No habits to change

A browser works fine, and Photoshop or Nuke do not care where a file came from. Being built into PP Studio is a reason to choose PP Studio, not a condition of using the library.

150,000 photographs will be online for launch; they are being prepared and checked until then, so the library you can browse today is smaller.
